My teenage niece who is Cindy has implicated in several thefts form her classmate’s pencil at elementary school. When my brother knows this thing who was very anger and punish for the steal. And the little niece confronts and fore to return the items, She is shy and never gives an explanation.
We hold a family meeting for discuss this issue. My older sister who works in the elementary school suggest that. She thinks the Cindy just like admitted talking things but can’t have to explain why she did it. Therefore we should be teach her taken away privileges and impose effect. She also says that some teenage children have steals act to satisfy their curiosity.
Therefore she doesn’t surprised the Cindy can’t give a reason or explanation for her behavior. And in this time the parents don’t push the punishment to heavy. Then should get a more satisfying for this issue and tell them don’t do that again and replace the pencil and say sorry sincerely with her classmate.
In this family community we think that is the great education to teach the Cindy. It is really a great shame to steal something.
